The subject of “development and application of automatic wire-drawing equipment for aerospace composite components” passed the acceptance test.

This topic is aimed at the urgent need of advanced manufacturing technology and equipment for large complex surface composite components in China’s aerospace industry. It has solved a number of technical problems and developed the first large-scale dynamic beam type gantry automatic wire laying machine in China.

On June 13, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized an expert on the development and application of the “automatic wire-drawing equipment for aerospace composite components” led by Baoding Standard Aircraft Co., Ltd. in Shijiazhuang Aircraft Industry Co., Ltd. Members of the expert group such as Xiao Jun, Wang Junfeng, Yao Feng, Qiu Haipeng and Gao Dawei, who are well-known experts in the field of automatic wire laying, participated in the review. After using automatic wire laying equipment, only two operators can complete the composite products with high quality and high precision. At present, the results of the project have entered the stage of industrial application. With the wide application of the research results of the subject in China’s aerospace industry, it will certainly lay a solid foundation for promoting the rapid development of China’s composite materials industry.
